SEIWA KASEI has undertaken the research and development of hydrolysate of collagen since 1963 with a new approach. In 1966, we have succeeded to launch hydrolyzed collagen, with brand name of "Promois". Beside we developed "Ayacol" (Branched higher fatty acid glycerides) and "Matlube" (Ester oil of branched or saturated higher fatty acid and higher alcohol). Afterward, we have launched a lot of "Promois" products with other origins and with different chemical reactions. Since 1989, we started the development of hybrid products composed of protein and silicone. In 1997 we have succeeded to launch "SILASOMA" as microcapsules using this hybrid technology. We continuously released innovative material such as "PROTESIL", multi-functional hybrid polymer composed of hydrolyzed protein and silicone. SEIWA KASEI is proud of our innovative technologies.

Using original expertise and experiences, SEIWA KASEI owns many different products superior in multi-functionality with much creativity and innovative approaches. We offer absolutely new and innovative solutions in cosmetic industry all over the world.

It is one of the most important strategies to file patents. Since the establishment in 1972, domestically we have 235patent applications and 65 patents have been approved.
For international patents, we have filed 44 items and 24 have been patented.
